How it works

Grounding, in plain words.

The earth’s surface carries a small negative charge. For most of history people touched it every day. Shoes, floors and beds took that away. Grounding puts the contact back: outdoors with bare feet, indoors with a conductive sheet, mat or band connected to the earth point of a socket.

Bare feet on dewy grass at sunrise

Outdoors

The free version.

Bare feet on a surface that conducts. Moisture helps, so mornings are good. Twenty minutes is a fair start. Expect it to feel like ordinary calm rather than anything dramatic, and often like nothing at all.

  • Damp grass
  • Wet sand
  • Bare soil
  • Unsealed concrete or stone

Sealed timber, vinyl, carpet and rubber soles break the contact. So does a bed. That is why the products exist.

Indoors

Setup, five minutes.

  1. 1Place itFitted sheet straight on the mattress. Flat sheet across the bed, under you. Mat on the floor where your feet go. Band on the inside of the wrist.
  2. 2Snap the cordThe cord clips to the tab at the corner of the sheet, the stud on the mat, or the stud on the band. 4.6 metres to the wall.
  3. 3Plug in the safety plugThe plug for your country is in the box. It only touches the earth point of the socket; no power is drawn and the switch can be off.

The test

Then check it with the pen.

Every grounding product ships with a tester pen. Touch it to the fabric with the cord connected and it lights. It is a conductivity check, not a health test, and it is the one measurement you can make yourself on night one. Watch Jade run it.

What you are lying on

Organic bamboo, 10% silver, tested for what touches your skin.

The silver thread runs through the weave, not over it, so the sheet stays conductive through washing. The fabric is tested by OEKO-TEX under Standard 100 and the grounding sheets are RoHS compliant. The numbers are on every product page.

What to expect

Your first 30 nights, honestly.

Some people notice something the first night. Many don't until week three. That's why you get 90 days to decide, not 14.

Nights 1-7

Setup takes five minutes. Run the meter test. Most people describe a slight tingle or nothing at all. Both are normal.

Nights 8-21

This is where customers most often describe deeper sleep and waking less. Keep your normal routine so you can tell.

Nights 22-30

Wash it (gentle cycle, mild detergent). Decide whether it's earned its place. You have 60 more nights either way.
